SEEDbridge helps children and young people from low-income families stay in school, find direction and build the skills for stable work. We are starting where we can do the most good in person: the government schools of Tenkasi district.
Our mission
Many capable students leave school because of cost, not ability. Our work rests on three pillars that keep a young person moving forward, from the classroom to a first job.
We help students stay in school by removing the everyday costs that push them out.
We help young people see what is possible and make a practical plan to get there.
When families can access the support available to them, students are better able to continue their education.
Where we begin
Our first programmes will run in and around Courtallam and Tenkasi. We will work with government schools, teachers and families we can meet in person and follow up with over time. Before we grow, we want to get the basics right.

About us
SEEDbridge Foundation is an education and youth-development initiative based in Courtallam, Tamil Nadu, with trust registration in progress. The name says what we do. SEED stands for Supporting Education, Employment and Development. The bridge is what we build between young people and the opportunities they deserve.
Across India, bright students drop out every year because a fee is due, shoes have worn through, no one at home can explain what careers exist, or the family is going through a hard season. Each of these barriers is practical, and each can be removed.
We focus on access. We put the right resource in front of a student at the moment it matters, and we stay with them until they reach higher studies or stable work.

Support is given privately and respectfully. We never use a child's photo or story without informed consent from the family.
We will publish how funds are used and report on our progress every year.
We would rather follow fewer students all the way through school than help many once and lose touch.
Teachers, parents and local leaders help us decide who needs support and what kind.
Many families qualify for government support they have never claimed. Connecting them to it is part of our work.
Every volunteer who works with students agrees to our child safeguarding code.

Complete registration, set up governance and policies, and bring together our first volunteers.
Partner with government schools in Tenkasi district and provide school essentials before the new academic year.
Launch mentoring and career guidance, help families access schemes, and publish our first annual report.
